***Some Facts to Ponder***
One of the main reasons we are so dependent on the resources of the third world is our artificially crafted addiction to meat (and petroleum.) 20 lbs of grain go into making 1 lb of beef = not enough soil resources here to sustain the meat habit. (and the same inefficiency goes into poultry as well - KFC is known for rainforest destruction for the cultivation of chicken feedstock.)
So how do they make a profit off of such an incredibly inefficient product?
Step one - the CIA. It's no secret that the CIA's main objective is to "maintain our access to our necessary resources." Or more accurately, extremely cheap resources. The CIA does this by keeping large, resource-full regions in third world squalor. It does this by aiding feudal cartel regimes. In feudal/cartel systems, such as in any Central or South American third world country today, those with the most guns own the land, and therefore own the resources. (Human and Natural Resources.) And guns are something we can supply quite easily, so it's not a very hard job to keep the right bloodthirsty cartels in power, to keep the extremely cheap resources flowing to us. That's why we're so Anti-Communism, 'cause communism = nationalized resources.
Step two - Steal taxpayer money. Major subsidies go to the meat and dairy industries.
Step three - Make people grossly unhealthy. Methinks this is the real reason they spend sooo much effort just to try and get such an inefficient, and unnecessary product to the consumer. Look at the average person's meal - meat is the mainstay, and veggies are supplemental, when it should be the other way around. Plus our veggies should NOT BE COOKED. We are omnivores, not carnivores. This means that we only have the ability to digest meat because of a secondary process. This process necessitates the consumption of huge amounts of raw microbiotics. The little living things in the raw plant foods help us digest the meat. Think about it - think back to early man. Meat was a survival food. It was the reason we were able to travel out of the jungle. But it was a supplement to a huge amount of other foods, ALL OF WHICH WERE RAW. Nowadays we just go ahead and eat meat three times a day, with absolutely no raw foods, and expect somehow to magically digest it. Well we don't. It sits and rots in our digestive tract, giving us an acidic pH balance. Ever heard of the 60 pounds of shit that was in John Wayne's lower intestine when he died? That's why. This is compounded by the fact that for some reason people find it normal to drink soda. Soda has the same pH as vinegar. It is a cleaning agent. It FUCKS UP YOUR pH.
Step four - Make money off of people being grossly unhealthy. An unhealthy pH balance means a dysfunctional immune system. It's well known now that small amounts of cancerous cells pop up in every healthy person's body normally, all the time, and that it's a normal function of the immune system to find and kill them. So to get cancer really just means that your immune system was unable to perform this function. And what are the two biggest money makers for the health care industry? Cancer and Heart Disease! (I didn't think it needed mentioning that heart disease is a direct result of a high-meat high-fat high-sugar diet.)
Step five - Steal more money from taxpayers. So we now know that health care and pharmaceutical system would be a scam even if they didn't get taxpayer subsidy, but, uh, they get that too...
So they steal your tax money four times here - once for the CIA, again to make the weapons the CIA provides, then to the Meat/Dairy industries, then to big Pharma/Health care.
Then they take your money AGAIN, fuck you up, and fuck up Mother Earth."
